Many people ask themselves what type of bike is right for them. Most people are lost by the assortment of bikes they find when walking into a bike shop. We pride ourselves in selling you the correct bike and making sure that it fits you correctly. Below is a list of the questions we will usually ask when finding a bike for you. There are four questions below. For each of the answers that applies to you, put a check in all the boxes in that row. You can answer for more than one answer in each question. For example, question number 1, you might like all four answers, so you would check mark every square. When you are finished, the column with the most checks is the type of bike that would suit you best.

Hybrid, Comfort, Townie or Cruiser - These bikes range in price $249.99 - $399.99. These bikes are great for riding around town, down the shore, rail-trails and with the family.

Road Comfort - These bikes range in price $469.99 - $1000. These are for people who use their bike around town and spend all of their time on paved ground. These bikes make great starter bikes for people getting into road biking and people who like charity rides. They also make great commuting bikes. Flat-bar road bikes also fall in this category.

Road Performance - These bikes range in price $1000 - $2000. These bikes are lighter than road comfort bikes, and a little more aggressive. You see some carbon, ultralight steel, and aluminum models fall in this category. Most road bikers ride this style.

Road Racing - These bikes range in price $2000 and up. These bikes are usually specially ordered to an individual. They are very light and equiped with high end components. Ethusiests and racers fall into this category.

Mountain Biking - These bikes range in price $250 - $1000. These bikes are also called all terrain bikes. They can go most places from streets to ventures through the woods and local trails. You don't have to be on a mountain to enjoy a mountain bike.

Cross-Country Racing - These bikes range in price $1000 and up. These bikes have a bit more aggressive feel than their mountain bike cousin. They have lighter, heavy duty components and a lot of speeds. They also come with really aggressive tires not suited at all for pavement.

Downhilling and Freeriding - These bikes range in price $500 - $6000 or more. These bikes can have front and rear suspension with 8 - 12 inches of travel. Dirt jumping or urban assualt bikes also fall into this category. They usually have just front suspension and are rode by kids that have disguarded there old BMX bikes for something bigger that they can kick around on.
